Lompoc Job and Resource Fair

Over 66 exhibitors are registered for this week's Lompoc Job & Resource Fair.

The Santa Barbara County Workforce Development Board in collaboration with the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce, the City of Lompoc, the Workforce Resource Center, Goodwill Industries, Excel Personnel Services, Allan Hancock College, Santa Barbara County Education Office (ROP/CTE/DSP), along with other agencies and organizations are excited to present the 2016 Lompoc Valley Job & Resource Fair.

The event is set this week, Thursday, April 21, 2015, 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. at the Dick DeWees Community & Senior Center, located at 1120 West Ocean Avenue in Lompoc.  The event is open to job seekers of all ages.

“What a great opportunity for the Lompoc Valley to connect qualified job-seekers with local employers.  Businesses are not only looking for prospective employees to fill permanent and part-time positions but they are also starting to look at staffing needs for the summer season, so the timing is perfect for such an event.” said Ken Ostini, President/CEO of the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau. “

There is no fee to participate. The event will have employers, resource agencies and  education providers..  To register, visit the event’s page at lompocjobandresourcefair.eventbrite.com.
