- Communities in California have been under-counted in past Censuses. An under-count means California is not getting a fair share of funding and representation, since not everyone living in our state was counted.
- Your participation in the Census will help secure funding for California families. Funding goes toward schools, affordable housing,social assistance programs, hospitals, job opportunities,and much more.
- Information collected for the 2020 Census can't be shared or used against you in any way. It can't be given to immigration or law enforcement agencies, and it can't be used to determine your eligibility for government benefits.
