March 2012 is Professional Social Work month, and the Board of Supervisors presented our social work and career employment staff with a resolution honoring the critical work they do.
The resolution was presented by 2nd District Supervisor Janet Wolf. Supervisor Wolf highlighted the impact our staff has in our community, telling the audience that our social workers are heroes, doing amazing work in this county. Turning to address the workers, she went on to say “the work you do is incredibly valuable, the interaction on a day to day basis with the folks in our community who need help the most.” Well said, Supervisor Wolf!
